Scientists will receive notifications about the new calls from 7th Framework Programme, that are announced by European Commision. Besides, they will receive help by writing the applications and advice how to compete in the best possible way for the funding together with partner from consortium. In this way Serbia will try to increase number of successful application sent to Brussels. Cordis Wire reports about the conclusion of the project on agri-food research in the Western Balkan Countries. The deliverables of the project consist of four BAFN Final reports: 4 National Mapping Reports (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, FYROM and Serbia),one Consolidated Mapping Report, one Synthesis report, and one Position Paper. The key lecturer in the seminars was Sean McCarthy, Hyperion, leading European expert on RTD Framework Programmes programmes together with senior representatives of project partners in Serbia and Bosnia Herzegovina who presented their experiences with the EU research programmes. The 'cg.yu’ top-level domain name – composed from the abbreviated names of Montenegro (Cerna Gora) and Yugoslavia, was used as country code domain for the union of Serbia and Montenegro, which existed between 2003 and 2006. After the two split, Serbia transferred to the '.rs' top-level domain, and Montenegro to '.me'. Project Coordinator Ms. Elke Dall was present along with more than one hundred participants. The reception also welcomed the President of TUBITAK Ms. Yetis, Ms. Friederichs, Mr. Genovese, etc. from the European Commission and representatives of the Chambers and Regions such as Croatia, Serbia etc.
