Mission Statement

Mission Statement of the Western Balkan Information Hub / WBC-RTI.info platform

This information platform acts as a source of high quality targeted information on research, technology, education, culture and innovation in, with and for the Western Balkans (WB).

It contributes to a dialogue between the EU and the region and to the integration of the WBs' research and innovation systems into the European Research Area (ERA).

Furthermore, this website continues to support the Steering Platforms on Research and Innovation & Education and Culture for the Western Balkans by publishing progress reports, reviews and conclusions from the meetings, and by offering a dedicated Steering Platform Area for its members.

Western Balkans Info Hub - powered by "Policy Answers" - is funded by the European Commission through the Horizon Europe project "R&I policy making, implementation and support in the Western Balkans", grant agreement: 10105887. The portal builds upon previous initiatives, such as for instance WBC-RTI.INFO and WBC-INCO.NET, which were funded under different Framework Programmes (FP) for Research and Technological Development (RTD) of the European Commission and other contracts.
