Logic Plus is one of Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244)’s leading consultancy firms, providing advisory and training services in Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244), Albania, the FRY of Macedonia and the region. Our successful track record includes work for a wide range of ex-Provisional Institutions of Self Government (PISG) and current Kosovo Institutions including government Ministries, all 30 (thirty) Municipalities of Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244), NGO’s and UN bodies. Logic Plus’s core competencies include project management, technology and management consulting and systems delivery. Logic Plus has implemented a project, funded by British Office, to provide advice and assistance on coordinating Standards for Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244) and Benchmarking System in all Municipalities as a mechanism for achieving a stable, democratic and multi-ethnic Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244). This has involved working with a wide range of stakeholders including Municipalities of Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244), Ministry of Local Government Administration, Provisional Institutions of Self-Government (PISG), UNMIK. The overall objective of the consulting services contract was to develop a fully functional MIS benchmarking system appropriate to the needs of the Municipal Authorities and the PISG that is capable of providing timely, accurate and reliable information that is in line with EU standards for both the Municipalities and the Ministry of Local Government Administration. Logic Plus implemented projects on educations that included: Drafting of tests (questionares) for Final Exams (three subjects) for Vocational Schools / For May and August 2009 and the strategy for the future online testing. Inspection in details of the current situation on the Education Management Information System and provision of training of the staff on data analysis, exporting and importing data from the Education Management Information System Collected all the necessary data on schools from Municipalites and provided data analysis and data cleaning (transformation) into a required format. Funded by SCAAK and European Comission, Logic Plus has implemented a project “e-student” where students can enroll online, fill in applications, see their marks, follow e-learning material etc etc … Logic Plus also implemented a project funded by DFID the goal of which was to coordinate all the published laws (including Laws on Education) by the Assembly of Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244) with the Official Gazette Office. Logic Plus has developed a specific tool for the online access of all the published laws, provide translation in five languages, and provide training for the Official gazette and Assembly representatives. Funded by World Bank and CIDA (Canadian Government) Logic Plus developed and deployed an e-gov application for the Ministry of Local Government that enabled all municipalities to interact with the Central Government and undertake delegated tasks. This included the provision of the Document Management System so e-citizens of Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244) could interact with the government and have much quicker access to most frequent and all necessary documents., as well as a Survey Management System which motivates user participation and became a powerful Research and Demographic tool. The consultancy also involved the design and provision of training for nearly 150 central and local government civil servants. This included hosting a workshop involving the Prime Minister, Minister of Local Government and other international representatives. Funded by UNDP, Logic Plus has successfuly completed and delivered "Project for supporting the Ministry of Justice in reforming the Judicial/Bar Examination in Kosovo". Project includes provision of 15 legal experts for the draft of the new curriculum and manual. Manual was produced for students of the Judicial Bar exam on the respective legal chapters based on the format required (over 1000 page manual). The new Manual reflects the legal changes (Ahtisari Plan and the new Status) that have taken place in Kosovo (under UNSCR 1244) since the publishing of the last Manual in 2004.
