CCIT employes 43 employees. It is one of few organizations in Albania having a special department – the Centre for Business Research and Training (ACBRT), dedicated to the development projects and trainings.

It employs a qualified staff (engineers, business managers, IT specialists, etc., with Doctor and/or MSc degrees) and has strong cooperation relationships with national and international know-how centers. CCIT and ACBRT have their LAN-s, website (www.cci.al), databases, broadband Internet access, Intranet, training facilities, etc.

Zadra d.o.o., the Zadar County Development Agency, was established by Zadar County and the City of Zadar in 2006, as a support system to the development of Zadar County. The vision of the Agency is:

“Zadar County is an attractive and economically competitive region with balanced and sustainable development, recognisable cultural and natural heritage, and a high quality of life”

Zadra’s objective is to create a system for conceiving and coordinating the development cycle of Zadar County, aimed at serving regional development, creating a positive investment climate and achieving benefits for the population of Zadar County.

The Mission of the development agency is to stimulate the sustainable development of Zadar County through the preparation of capacities to extract EU funds, implementation of regional development policies, assisting the development of small and medium entrepreneurship, attracting and providing services to investors, and promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.

Zadra acts as a “one-stop-service” centre that assists investors in implementing their projects in Zadar County. This is a proactive service coordinated and run by Zadra, for the purpose of facilitating administrative procedures for interested investors, so as to initiate their business operations with a as few bureaucratic barriers and issues as possible.

Through the implementation of various projects, Zadra has developed a network of reliable partners, bringing together representatives of government, institutions, universities, the private sector, associations and EU experts, in order to strengthen inter-county, inter-regional and trans-national cooperation.

Zadra actively participates in the preparation and implementation of EU projects of local, county and regional significance and in the drafting of local and county development strategies. The agency implements support programmes for various segments of social and economic development in the county, and organises numerous activities aimed at strengthening human resources of businesses, local public administration and associations.
