News archive - Croatia and Israeal establishing a joint fund for science

The media reports that Croatia and Isreal sealed a declaration to establish a joint fund for science.

The declaration was signed during the visit of Croatian Minister of Science, Education and Sport Dragan Primorac's to Jerusalem in July 2007. The future fund is planned as part of an ongoing Croatian-Israeli programme for co-operation in the science sector, and will enable joint investments in high technology and research. The ministers discussed further possible cooperation in the field of science, education, economy, as well as joint investment in high technology.

A joint Israeli-Croatian commission for science and technology also met on September 19, 2007 in Jerusalem. Representatives of scientific circles from the two countries signed an agreement to launch a programme for scientific and technological co-operation.
