News archive - Apply for the COIN Multipliers Prize

The COIN Project (integrated project in the European Commission Seventh Framework Programme in the field of Enterprise Interoperability and Enterprise Collaboration) has launched a Prize to award the three best ideas for adoption of Interoperability and Collaboration Services provided by COIN Platform or integration of additional services to the platform service portfolio offer. The three best idea will be awarded a cash prize of up to 8,000 EUR.

Deadline: April 15, 2011.

The initiative promoted within the COIN Project aims at stimulating the production of COIN related ideas, and their eventual potential implementation, from potential adopters/users of the COIN Interoperability and collaboration services.

The Prize will be focused on awarding the best three ideas for:

  • Test/Use cases where COIN collaboration and interoperability services play a key role. COIN collaboration and interoperability services are technological enablers for business innovation, in view of possible future implementation as COIN pilots.
  • The development of additional collaboration and interoperability services to integrate COIN’s Generic Platform Services portfolio offer.

The Prize will identify three ideas, which will be awarded with monetary prizes as follows:

  • 8.000 EUR to the 1st ranked;
  • 5.000 EUR to the 2nd ranked;
  • 3.000 EUR to the 3rd ranked.

Participants shall send their proposal by 15 April 2011 (17:00 CET)

The mission of the COIN IP is to study, design, develop and prototype an open, self-adaptive, generic ICT integrated solution to support the above 2020 vision, starting from notable existing research results in the field of Enterprise Interoperability and Enterprise Collaboration.
