News archive - Croatia and Russia will encourage cooperation on the FP7 Programme

Radovan Fuchs, Minister of Science, Education and Sports and his Russian colleague Andrey Fursenko, Minister of Science and Education signed on May 27, 2011 in Moscow an Agreement on Cooperation in Science and Education.

This bilateral agreement with the Russian Federation is the first of its kind, and one of the few signed with the Russian Federation after Croatia gained independence. It will allow for exchange of students, professors, scientists and experts and implementation of joint scientific and research projects. Furthermore, it will encourage direct contacts between Croatian and Russian educational, scientific, and technical institutions. In addition, Croatia and Russia will encourage cooperation on the FP7 Programme, through which Croatian and Russian scientists may apply for projects within EU programmes.
