News archive - Call for expressions of interest to host the Seventh European Quality Assurance Forum, November 2012

Since 2006, the European Quality Assurance Forum (EQAF), co-organised by EUA, ENQA, EURASHE and ESU, has become the premier event for quality assurance (QA) in Europe with some 400 participants from across Europe and beyond. The Forum provides a unique platform for the higher education and QA communities to monitor, shape and anticipate developments in the area. Any expressions of interest to host the event should be submitted by December 21, 2011.

The main purposes of the event are to foster a dialogue on quality assurance that bridges national boundaries, leading to further development of the QA in European higher education, and to create a common European understanding of QA through a dialogue among different stakeholder groups. Forum participants usually consider this event as an opportunity for professional development and updating their knowledge.

Institutions interested in hosting EQAF should be able to offer:

  • An easily accessible location from across Europe (international airport hub)
  • One plenary room that can comfortably accommodate 450 people, and 10 breakout rooms that can accommodate 30-50 participants, close to the plenary room
  • Catering area for 450 people for coffee breaks and lunches
  • Technical support
  • Support staff for the preparation of the Forum
