News archive - 2nd newsletter issued by BALCON project: assistance for project developing in view of ICT Call 11 is offered
The second newsletter by the BALCON project was recently issued.
The issue covers the activities by the BALCON project ' in its second year. Over the last months the work focused on the promotion and support to cooperation among WBC researchers and their EU counterparts in the broader field of Complex Systems and Advanced Computing through:
● international networking session (2/10/2013, Dubrovnik, Croatia) offering a unique opportunity to R&D teams from both regions to share their research ideas and initiate discussion on forming research consortia to prepare FP7-ICT proposal(s)
● promotion of the interests and achievements of more than 30 research teams from the Western Balkans through theportal http://www.balcon-project.eu/find_your_research_partner
● Support to the involvement in FP7-ICT Call 10 proposals of more than 10 R&D teams, by providing them hand-on customised support.
Looking ahead on the last opportunities for international collaborations under FP7-ICT, the BALCON project offers assistance for project preparation under the ICT Call 11 (deadline: 16/4/2013).
