Marie Curie Alumni web portal
The Marie Curie Alumni portal was launched in January 2011 to benefit the approximately 50,000 researchers that have received funding from the Marie Curie programme.
These researchers are encouraged to register on the portal and enjoy the benefits of membership. The portal currently offers a number of membership services such as: an automated alert about new Marie Curie calls for proposals or meetings; a discussion board to promote the exchange of knowledge between alumni on areas of expertise, career opportunities or events and conferences; an events calendar with important meetings and events of interest to alumni; and personalised alerts to news and content from the portal.
Main aims of this portal are to:
- provide of a platform for networking, discussion, knowledge interchange, communication tools.
- facilitate exposure of scientific work to a large number of researchers worldwide
- create a community of people with common experiences and interest
