Cultural Cooperation in the Western Balkans
13 collaborative cultural projects have been showcasing ground-breaking creativity and creating sustainable connections across the Western Balkans and the EU.
In 2019, Creative Europe launched the Call for proposals: Cultural Cooperation Projects in the Western Balkans. The call aimed to increase cultural cooperation within the region and with EU Member States, and strengthen the competitiveness of the cultural and creative industries in the Western Balkans. This event marks the launch of the 13 projects selected by the European Commission out of 350 applications. The collaborative, creative and interdisciplinary projects cover a diverse range of sectors and contribute to the crosscutting objectives of the European Commission. The Cultural Relations Platform is supporting the visibility and maximising the results of these projects internationally.
