Presentations from JRC workshop on investment vehicles and financial instruments supporting technology transfer and innovation, Belgrade

The JRC organised a workshop which focused on financial instruments as support to innovation and tech transfer projects in the Western Balkans countries and, in general, in the Danube region. The event took place on 1-2 March 2017 in Belgrade (Serbia).

The objectives of the workshop were to identify existing financial instruments that support innovation and technology transfer activities in the region, explore where the evident gaps exist and explore ways to address currently unmet demand using synergistic solutions. The workshop also aimed to strengthen and cement an emerging community of practice on these issues that should help to maximise the impact of innovation on regional development.

This was one of the first follow-up activities of the Macro-Regional Innovation Week held in Trieste, 26-30 September 2016.
