The CEI Ministerial Conference on Renewable Energy in a Bio-based Economy: The Option of Next Generation Biofuels was held on September 20, 2012 in Trieste, Italy. Ministers, EC high-level officials and international experts recognised the challenge of Next Generation Biofuels as a priority option for any eco-friendly strategy in the field of renewable energy and for promoting a bio-based economy in the CEI region.
