"Graduated in Physics and has Aa Masters degree in Information Sciences. From 1997 she is head of the Ruđer Bosković Institute Library. She is working on new information services for the research and academic community in Croatia.
Jadranka Stojanovski started the project Croatian Scientific Information System in 1994 which was active for ten years embracing over 120 special and academic libraries according subject field focusing on new services for library users. From 1995 to 2007 she started several project as CROSBI – Croatian Scientific Bibliography (http://crosbi.znanstvenici.hr), Centre for Online Databases (http://baze.szi.hr), Who's Who in Science in Croatia (http://tkojetko.znanstvenici.hr), Croatian Scientific Portal (http://www.znanstvenici.hr), HRCAK - Portal for Croatian Scholarly Open Access Journals (http://hrcak.znanstvenici.hr) etc.
Since 1993 she is teaching Digital Libraries at J.J. Strossmayer University in Osijek. She is involved in the continuous education of librarians and users, and has taught different seminars on database retrieval, web searching, digital libraries etc.
Her main areas of interest are open access to scholarly literature, information retrieval, library organisation and management, library automation, new information services in the library, libraries on the Web, electronic scholarly publishing, and digital library development."
