Mr. Gerben Wedekind holds a BSc., MA. and MSc. degree in political science and European Integration (summa cum laude) from the Radboud University Nijmegen, the University of Amsterdam as well as the Institute for European Studies, Brussels. After having worked for 1.5 years in Turkey, among others as a project officer at the Netherlands Institute for Higher Education in Ankara, Turkey, Wedekind left for Brussels to subsequently hold positions within EEA/Enlargement Unit of the European Parliament's Secretariat as well as the Netherlands House for Education and Research. Currently, Wedekind works as an European Advisor at the Turkish Research and Business Organizations (TuR&Bo).
