Mr. Emanuele Sanguineti studied at the University of Genova. He obtained his law degree in 2002 focusing his final dissertation on EU law. He then successfully completed a master degree course in diplomatic studies sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.He has focused his career on international research activities facilitating the contacts among researchers from all over the world.He worked as a consultant for the NATO Science for Peace and Security Programme which aims at facilitating the flow of scientific knowledge in security related studies among NATO’s and its Partner countries.He has also experience within the European administration. He worked in the International cooperation division of the Directorate General for Research. He has a good knowledge of Europe’ Framework Programme for Research and Technological Development, in particular as far as third countries participation is concerned.He then worked as European Advisor for the Turkish and Business Organisations Brussels (TURBO) based office.Currently, he works at the European Commission's DG RTD in the area of International Cooperation / International Dimension of the Framework Programme.
