His previous positions include: Head of Unit "Policy Support Strategy", DG Joint Research Centre, Programmes Directorate, Brussels. Advisor to the Director of the Institute for Prospective Technological Studies, DG Joint Research Centre, Seville. From December 1993 to February 1996: Assistant to the Director of Energy RTD, DG XII (Science, Research and Development), Brussels. Over 60 publications in international conferences, journals, etc. Editor of various technical books.
