Paola Materia joined in APRE in 2005 and has a degree in Foreign Languages and Literatures (Russian and French). She is the Italian NCP for the “Environment (including climate change)” theme of FP7. In FP6 she was involved in providing assistance and consultancy within the „Sustainable development, global change and ecosystems“ thematic priority and has been officer for several ETIs and SSAs. Currently, she is the project officer of several projects co-funded by FP6, and in particular of EU-BALKAN FABNET, dedicated to the training of researchers and multipliers in Western Balkan Countries.
