Research interest:
Health effects of toxic heavy metals (lead, cadmium, mercury, aluminum) and essential trace elements (iron, zinc, copper, calcium). Special interest in reproductive and perinatal effects of metals, effects in relation to age, sex, and diet, and toxic and essential trace element interactions; pre-clinical testing of novel chelating agents and dietary measures (calcium, vitamin C supplementation) for reducing of heavy metal retention.
