"Centre for Informatics and Computing at RBI is ICT oriented division and involved in four GRID related FP6 projects in the areas of distributed computing test beds (3C), high-speed computing, high throughput computing, e-science center, scientific visualizations etc. RBI can provide Grid resources of several levels of complexity. The Campus GRID is presently intended and used for scientific cluster computing with scientific instruments in the grid (e.g. NMR, electronic microscopy ), scientific databases, distributed data acquisition (e.g. Marine ecology). Research and development at digital repositories, knowledge discovering tools and visualization for huge amount of data. Image, video and multimedia content analysis. Improvements in 3D visualisation and human - machine interaction. Development of the new methods in visual analytics."
