Christina Miariti is the Research Development Coordinator at SEERC. Through her current position, she contributes to the implementation of SEERC's research agenda. Her main role is to assist the researchers in identifying research funding possibilities in their areas of interest and in the writing of funding proposals, as well as to manage projects in the areas of innovation and policy dialogue in the Western Balkans, intellectual property and research valorisation procedures and education. She has studied Journalism and Mass Media in the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and holds a Master's degree in International Communications from Leeds University, UK specialising in the major conflicts of the '90s (Gulf War, Bosnia, Kossovo, Rwanda) and in how the media affect foreign policy. She has previously worked as a reporter in local media, she is fluent in Italian and has also studied Turkish.
