Description

The Institute of Food Safety and Veterinary (ISUV) is a public institution that depends on the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Consumer Protection (Ministry of
Agriculture). It continues the work of the former Veterinary Research Institute and the former Institute of Food Research and is created based on their merge in 2006.
It is the only reference centre in the country that pursues research and control in food safety and quality as well as animal health protection by diagnosing and preventing animal diseases.
