Directorate of Accreditation
The Albanian Accreditation Directorate (DA) is a public authority under the Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy, recognized by the Albanian Government as the single National Accreditation Body to assess, against internationally agreed standards, organizations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services. The DA has the task to provide advice to State Administration in matters concerning accreditation and other assessments and approvals of competence for carrying out conformity assessment procedures and maintaining, update and gives the information on the status of accreditation of the accredited bodies.
