Description

The Small and Medium Enterprises and Entrepreneurship Council (SMEE Council) was formed by a government decision on August 17, 2006 with the aim of discussing, monitoring and analyzing the state of the SMEE sector, offer proposals, state opinions, initiatives and expert explanations regarding the creation and implementation of SMEE development support policy. It also observes and initiates activities related to the cooperation between ministries and between ministries and other organisations and institutions. Members of SMEE Council are nominated representatives from the Ministry of Economy, Ministry of Science, Ministry of Labour, Employment and Social Policy, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Services, Ministry of Education and Sport, Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management, as well as members from Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Union of Employers of Serbia.
