Description

The Southeast European Cooperative Initiative SECI was established in 1996, aiming to strengthen regional cooperation and to promote public private partnerships in Southeast Europe. Recognizing the importance for regional trade and transport facilitation in Southeast Europe, and based on the successful initiative and effectiveness of already existing structures for trade facilitation in Western Europe, the establishment of similar Southeast European PRO structures was promoted through the SECI initiative, giving birth to the SECIPRO Network and its PRO Committees.
