Network for Capacity develoment in Nutrition in Central and Eastern Europe
For over six decades Department of Nutritional Research (DNR) investigators have conducted the country's most advanced studies on nutrition, food and human health. Our research focuses on determining the nutrient requirements necessary to promote well-being for children and adults. Our scientists examine how nutrition plays a role in the prevention of the major diseases affecting modern man today and conditions associated with aging.
DNR is a part of Institute for Medical Research (IMR) and member of University of Belgrade, Serbia. Located in the oldest part of Belgrade, DNR is one of six research departments of IMR partially supported by research grants with Ministry of Science and Environmental Protection of Serbia.
