Novi Sad Incubation Center
Novi Sad Incubation Center (NOSIC) was established in 2003, as the seed of a future Science and Technology Park and a joint venture of the Vojvodina Investment Promotion Fund, University of Novi Sad, Free Trade Zone Novi Sad and “Alma Mons” agency for SMEs development. The objectives of incubation in Novi Sad were to provide all the resources that the technology or other entrepreneur needs to build a successful business. With 44 registered entreprises (spin-offs) in high-tech areas, established by university staff or researchers at the University, NOSIC plays an essential role in the Novi Sad economic development. Simultaneously, it offers a positive image of entrepreneurship, promotes business incubation concept, contributing to changing a negative attitude toward personal initiative, innovation and risk-taking.
