"The Faculty of Agriculture Sciences and Food, established on 16-th December 1947 is one of the founders of University “St. Cyril and Methodius’ in Skopje, Republic of Macedonia. It’s the oldest and the biggest educational and science-research Institution in the field of agriculture and food in the Republic of Macedonia. Almost 6.000 students have gained B.Sc, M.Sci and Ph.D degrees from this faculty in the past 57 years. Our Faculty has 12 departments with more than 150 employees in the different area of food production.

Main objectives of our faculty are:

  • Majoring the studies for gaining knowledge and skills necessary for a profitable agricultural production and using the natural resources with environmental protection;
  • Providing new specialized profiles of staff who will be technically trained to give quick technological solutions for keeping the product’s competitiveness and which are necessary for engaging in the present and future farm production, processors and scientific-research work
  • Exchanging informations and cooperation with educational, scientific and production society, governmental and non-governmental bodies.
  • Implementation, training, education, technology transfer of new food quality and safety systems according European legislation and needs etc."
