The Public Foundation for the Development of Industry considers the promotion of innovation activities within small- and medium-sized Hungarian enterprises to be of particular importance. Within our programmes we regularly seek to draw attention to and support the importance and economic significance of process- and organisational innovation. Furthermore, capital- and resource-intensive product- and technological innovation presents a serious opportunity for companies to which we seek to draw attention in a number of forums. With this aim in mind and within the framework of the Innovation Award, in 2009 we established the Organisational Innovation Award - to be presented in the Parliament building in the presence of the Hungarian President – to acknowledge outstanding endeavour and achievement in the field of organisational- and process innovation.
