Formicablu is an Italian science communication and multimedia production agency specialized in fostering communication between the scientific community and institutions and the different publics and stakeholders.

With over 10 years expertise, formicablu designs, develops and coordinates communication plans, dissemination&outreach workpackages, training and content production strategies for research projects, public institutions and private companies.

Formicablu is strongly skilled in the production of diverse multimedia products: video, audio, podcasts, animations, scribings and many more experimental outputs.

Formicablu has authored and co-funded different projects:

• Non chiamarmi terremoto, a docu-fiction on seismic risk prevention (2010);
• InsidER, a webmagazine on scientific research in Emilia-Romagna region (2012);
• Datajournalism.it, an online laboratory hosting data-driven stories and tutorials (2011-present);
• SEEDversity.org, a crossmedial project and webdoc on agrobiodiversity
• co-funded with EJC-IDR grant supported by Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation (2014)
