Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Banja Luka Region
Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Banjaluka Region is an independent, non-governmental, non-political, non-profit, expert–professional, public-legal association of economic entities and associations from Banjaluka Region. It is a part of the unique Chamber System of the Republic of Srpska which consists of CCI of the Republic of Srpska and five Regional CCIs (Banja Luka, Bijeljina, Doboj, Trebinje and East Sarajevo).
CCI of Banjaluka Region includes more than 50% of the territory and economy of the Republic of Srpska. Our members are enterprises, banks, other financial organizations, interest associations and other subjects performing activity of relevance to the economy. Resources for Chamber’s work are generated from the membership fee and fees for providing business services.
The main goal and role of the Chamber is to influence such a business environment which would have a developing component, meaning to improve the basic economic parameters: increase the scope of production, employment, export and foreign investments.
Business services offered by Chamber are various: promotion the members to domestic and foreign fairs, internationalization, and consultancy in the process of standardization (ISO; HACCP; FSC CoC). Within the programs of education member companies can improve their knowledge regarding managerial skills, marketing, production improvement, public relations, project management standardization of process, and other current topics.
CCI Banjaluka is involved in activities regarding innovations and women entrepreneurs. Chamber is included in the project “Competition for the best technological innovation” in the Republic of Srpska. Representative of CCI Banjaluka is involved as a team member in this Competition, which is organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Government of Republic of Srpska. Also, representative of CCI Banjaluka is involved in the organization of “International exhibition of ideas, innovation and creativity of young people” (“INOST MLADIH"). CCI Banjaluka cooperates with associations of women entrepreneurs and the Gender Center of the Government of Republic of Srpska. CCI Banja Luka and associations of women entrepreneurs “UNA” Banjaluka carried out the project "Analysis of women's entrepreneurship". The survey results are used in planning the chamber activities related to the strengthening of women's entrepreneurship. Chamber also started collaboration with the Women’s Inventors Association “NOVA” BiH.
CCI RS, together with the regional Chambers implemented Quality Management System, in accordance with requirements of ISO 9001:2008 standards.
