Vision:

Social innovation has improved the quality of citizens’ daily life in the Western Balkans. Inclusive and innovative society that uses far-reaching and realistic policy alternatives and practical solutions for solving local and regional socio-economic challenges in the Western Balkans.

Mission:

Our mission is to provide platform for social innovations where knowledge, ideas and practices meet to find solutions for development challenges in the regional socio-economic context.

"It seems that in majority of countries in the region social innovations mostly come from area of social entrepreneurship and from communities that are involved in solving social needs and challenges by using innovative approaches while the public sector lags behind with it's support. However, when it comes to formal position of social innovation in Western Balkans, Croatia has more policies and measures related to social innovation than any other country in this region." (Aleksandra Vladisavljevic, SIL Co-founder)
