The Veneto Region is an autonomous body with its own legislative, administrative and executive functions.
The Industry Department has involved in Industrial policies and bring about the resolutions of Giunta regionale.
The task has concerned to manged European, Regional and National aids for SME’s and support the economic regional development.
This task has managed by Industry Department inside or from the outside.
The Industry Department realizes the regional economic policy in partnership with Agency Veneto Innovazione (with regard to innovation problems) and with the Joint Stock Finance Company Veneto Sviluppo (with regard to contribute to the regional entrepreneurial development).
Veneto Sviluppo supports SMEs the Veneto Region, by getting involved in two distinct operational areas:
Financial Incentives (Revolving funds and risk funds)
Equity Financing (Strategic" equity interventions, The Risk Capital Fund for innovative investments and Partnership for the establishment of a Renewable energies Holding).
The Industry Department is placed in Venice Fondamenta S. Lucia – Cannaregio n. 23 in the new Palace of Veneto Region in front at Gran Canal.
