Description

The Varazdin County Development Agency (AZRA) is a VarazdinCounty company created to serve the public’s interest. AZRA works to develop human resources and SMEs, attract foreign investment, and assist VarazdinCounty, municipalities and regional NGOs to create and implement development projects and programs. Apart from this, AZRA organizes training seminars regionally to educate SMEs and NGOs on how to write projects, manage finances, and also informs them of current regional and EU policies. Moreover, AZRA has a crucial role in building regional cooperation. AZRA is the founder of the Croatian Regions Office in Brussels, which has 16 partners. The office implements activities to increase awareness of Croatian interests in Europe and abroad, and increase cooperation and dialogue between European and Croatian regions.
