Description
The Macedonian Bank for Development Promotion was established in 1998 with the objective to provide finance for export oriented production and export of small and medium enterprises (SME), to finance investments for the development of small and medium enterprises, and to provide insurance for export claims of the SMEs. In this context, MBDP performs the following activities:
• Financing of production intended for export by credits approved for export inflows;
• Financing of business start-ups and development of SME, by providing medium-term and long-term credits;
• Insurance and reinsurance of identified inflows against short-term commercial risk;
• Management and administration of foreign credit lines and donations.
