News archive - Albania and EUREKA: Reinforced Cooperation
In the frame of the expressed interest of Albania becoming a EUREKA member, a delegation from EUREKA composed by Mr. Luuk Borg, Director of the Secretariat of the EUREKA and Mr. Svatopluk Halada, Coordinator for the Western Balkan Countries visited the Agency of Research, Technology and Innovation (ARTI) on December 13-14 2010.
During the 2 – days visit, the delegation met with the Albanian Minister of Education and Science, the Chairman of the Academy of Sciences, the Administrator General of Confederation of Albanian Industries and the President of the Union of Chambers of Commerce. On December 14th ARTI organized an Information Day with the participation of business representatives and the scientific community to discuss the opportunities and the possibilities that EUREKA Program offers.
