News archive - FP7 Calls for Tenders

In addition to the "Calls for Proposals" also "Calls for Tenders" are published within the Cooperation Programme of FP7. Currently (August 31, 2007) seven such tenders are open - dealing with the fields of nanosciences, nanotechnologies, materials and new production technologies, Monitoring and Control markets, healthcare, drivers of the European Research Area, S&T specialisation and lead markets.
  • Exploitation strategy and innovation consultants (ESIC) for nanosciences, nanotechnologies, materials and new production technologies (NMP) - 2007/S 125-152142

Short description of the contract or purchase(s):
On-demand services to secure and enhance the potential impact of the results of projects co-financed by the Commission within the activity 'Nanosciences, nanotechnologies, materials and new production technologies - NMP'. The tasks to be performed will more specifically aim at identifying and addressing potential obstacles to the exploitation of project results. These may be internal obstacles, such as diverging expectations or intentions between project partners (risk for conflict of interest), as well as external obstacles, such as legislative or normative influences, market evolution, development of other technologies to solve the same problem or address the same market, lack of training, lack of acceptance by society, etc. Services take the form of project analysis (desk work), assistance at project meetings, exploitation strategy seminars, first line consulting, presentations, and other.
