News archive - Compilation of "Best Practice in Promoting Creativity and Innovation" Published

A new catalogue published by the European Communities show examples of best practice in promoting creativity and innovation which have been selected by a panel of independent experts drawn from the various programmes of the European Commission. Best Practice Examples from various fields (Education, Culture, Regional Development etc) show how European funding has been used to for innovative projects all over Europe.

The part dedicated to activites funded by DG RTD deals with knowledge-based entrepreneurship (KBE), which is considered a key factor of growth in the European knowledge society. The study examine the characteristics of successful entrepreneurship and explains how it manages to convert scientific research into commercial success.
