News archive - [Event Announcement] International Society for Cultural and Activity Research (ISCAR) 2011

The 2011 ISCAR Congress will be held in Rome on September 5-10, 2011 and will be organized by the University of Rome “Sapienza” Faculty of Psychology 2, Department of Developmental, Social and Educational Psychology. It will deal with the theme "ENHANCING THE CULTURAL AND THE ACTIVITY APPROACH FOT THE NEW GENERATION DEVELOPMENT IN A GLOBAL WORLD."

The themes of the 2011 Rome Congress will concern, as usually, a variety of social practices, including human socialization activities in families, playgrounds, preschools, schools, work and diverse organizations, institutions and communities, children and adults discourse and play, gender identities in instruction and professions.Please click here to find out more on the call for papers.

The International Society for Cultural and Activity Research (ISCAR) is a scientific association that aims at:

  • developing multidisciplinary theoretical and empirical research on societal, cultural and historical dimensions of human practices;
  •  promoting mutual scientific communication and research cooperation among its members.
