A new call has opened on November 19, 2008 in the field of "Nano-sciences and -technologies, new materials, new production processes and integration for sectorial applications".

A total budget of 147 Mio Euros is available for funding NMP projects in 2009.

The new calls focus on the following areas:

* Nanoscience and Nanotechnology
* Materialsciences
* New Production
* Horizontal Activties
* Cooperation with Russia
* Joint Call Environment
