Riinvest Institute for Development Research is planning to organize an international conference "Activating the Sources of Economic Growth in Kosovo" on the occasion of 15th Anniversary of the institute (May 13-15, 2010) and publishes a call for papers.
The key conference topics include:
(1) Development and Institutions
(2) Human Capital, Intellectual Capital and Social Capital
(3) Industrial Policies
(4) Natural Resources: a Curse or a Blessing
(5) Absorptive Capacities for Investment and Job Creation
(6) EU Integration and Regional Economic Cooperation
(7) Infrastructure and Utilities
(8) Agriculture and Rural Development
(9) High Value Added Services
Papers should follow academic format and there will be per review by a special Conference Committee. Policy oriented papers will also be accepted, but they will not exceed 20% of total papers to be presented in the conference.

- 1 February 2010: Abstracts of papers are received
- 20 February 2010: Feedback on acceptance of papers be the peer review committee for authors provided
