Invited are presentations that cover the following topic areas:

1. Research and education
• Academic research in humanities and social sciences
• Synthesis of research and education (compatibility between research and education)
• Internet revolution in education, language and internet
• Standards of informational knowledge (domestic and world)
• Reform of higher education, Bologna process and distance learning
• International and domestic classification standards in scholarship and education
• Standards and criteria for determining a world language
• International and domestic standards and criteria for identifying/defining literary periods

2. New paradigms in education
• Intercultural aspects of education, new media in education
• New pedagogical and psychological insights; didactic and methodological issues
• South-Slavic languages of the so-called shtokavian area (Bosnian, Croatian, Serbian, and Montenegrin)
• Cultivating language and speech – applied linguistics
• Teaching foreign languages (innovations, methods, experiences, young learners)
• Literature in school and university curricula; contemporary literature in education
• Computer and mathematical innovations and terminology
• Social aspects of education, democracy and human rights
• Results and experiences in art, music and physical education classes, and in media, ecology and technical education classes

The deadline for submitting applications (with the topic and a abstract/summary of the presentation written in B/C/S and English) is March 31, 2012. The Application form (to be found below) should be sent via e-mail to the conference address: (naucni.skup.pfz@gmail.com).
Submissions are limited to one (single-authored or joint-authored) abstract per individual.
