News archive - Call for applications: Improved SME Competitiveness and Innovation Project (ICIP) is looking for qualified and experienced assessors
The EU-funded Improved SME Competitiveness and Innovation Project (ICIP), in cooperation with NARD, has developed a Certification for individual business service providers and consultants as a means of qualifying professionals to work with SMEs in a range of SME development programmes and services. At this stage, applications from qualified and experienced assessors who can conduct assessments of applicants for certification are invited. Closing date for applications is Friday November 11, 2011. Interviews will be held the following week.
ICIP is looking for:
Individuals who are experienced in conducting assessments / audits at professional level (e.g. ISO, EFQM, HRD) in a rigorous, thorough, independent and objective manner, including the identification of training and professional development needs.
Such individuals should also have significant consulting, advisory, and training experience, particularly in the SME sector, and should have a good level of spoken and written English (preferably fluent or near-fluent).
ICIP offers:
- Up to 16 days work as a contracted Short-Term Expert within ICIP during the period December 2011 through April 2012
- Training in the specific assessment methods for the Certification provided by ICIP international experts.
- Mentoring provided by experienced international assessors during the first round of assessments.
