A presentation made available for see-science.eu introduces Europe INNOVA and PRO INNO Europe as flagships of European innovation policy and presents the current ideas and objectives for the 2008 calls for proposals that DG Enterprise and Industry will launch next year.

The priorities can be read on slide 5 of the presentation and include promotion of innovation in knowledge intensive services, facilitation of lead markets, promotion of practical trans-national cluster cooperation, and promotion of the greening of industrial sectors. The call for so-called INNO-NETs will be published in fall 2008 (budget 10-22 m euro, start of action mid 2009, 3-4 INNO-Net contracts foreseen per theme).
