News archive - Event Announcement: European Regional Economic Forum 2008
The European Regional Economic Forum (EREF) 2008 will take place on June 5 and 6, 2008 in Nova Gorica, Slovenia. The special focus of EREF 2008 is the role of public-private partnerships (PPPs) and private funding in the fields of research and technology development (RTD), innovation and education.
The forum is expected to encourage and motivate participants in enhancing their knowledge-based competitiveness and contribute to accelerated realisation of the concept of European Research Area (ERA).
The forum will bring together senior representatives of regional authorities and from business, research, innovation and education, as well as knowledge stakeholders from South-East and eastern Europe.
