The 19th and 20th of June 2008 NPO, the Network on Public Research Programming, the Netherlands, is organizing a two-day conference on "Evidence Based Policy Making: International Best Practices in connecting Science and Policy" in De Bazel in Amsterdam, the Netherlands

The aim of this conference is to connect a broad range of views, internationally as well as transdisciplinary on 'Evidence Based Policy Making'. Seasoned policy makers and experienced researchers from all over the world will give an insight into their own experiences, providing you with ample examples and concrete tools for evidence based policy making.

The Conference topics will especially be of interest to:
o Strategic Policy Makers
o Policy oriented Scientists
o Coordinators of Policy Research
o Experts in Public Knowledge Management
o Data suppliers for policymaking
