The FP7-funded project "Gender in Research" offers training opportunities on how to integrate gender aspects into research in order to promote gender equality in scientific research within the 7th Framework Programme, including equal opportunities for women and men and the gender dimension of research, thereby contributing to excellence in research.

The Gender Toolkit and inteactive one-day training sessions (including a general introduction and practical exercises in parallel sessions) are intended for anybody interested in understanding gender aspects in this/her own research field: scientists, research project managers, National Contact Points, expert evaluators, etc.

Participation is free, however participants should make their own travel and accomodation arrangements.

Courses run from September 2009 until December 2010. Registration is now open for training sessions in different European cities such as Brussels, Berlin and Prague. Some of them focussing on special scientific fields while others are open for participants from all disciplines. Please click here to access the event calendar.
