News archive - Annual Progress Reports to be issued soon
On November 6, 2007 the European Commission will issue the annual progress report. At the Steering Platform Meeting on October 29, 2007 in Thessaloniki (Greece) it was already stated that the progress assessment in the field of research policy will not be very positive. Some general conclusions have now been published already from an advance copy.
BIRN (Balkan Investigative Reporting Network) / Balkan Insight has obtained an advance copy of the European Commission’s annual progress report on the countries that seek to join it and Gjeraqina Tuhina reports from Brussels and provides a country-by-country summary of the report for the Western Balkans.
