Call for Papers

All papers will be peer reviewed by at least two members of the international Programme Committee, which will be chaired by Dr. Panos Ketikidis (City College, Thessaloniki) and Dr. Peter Bath (Centre for Health Information Management Research, University of Sheffield, UK).

The Symposium Proceedings, including all papers presented and abstracts for posters, will be published in print. In addition, selected papers will be published in a special issue of the Health Informatics Journal (which is indexed in Medline), as has occurred in previous ISHIMR events.

Doctoral Forum

If you are currently at doctoral student, at any stage of your studies, e.g., just starting our, or possibly near completion, you may benefit from taking part in the ISHIMR 2010 Doctoral Forum. The focus this year will be on "Successful Research". You are invited to report on your studies to date in a short 10-minute presentation to a panel of experts. It will be an opportunity to gain valuable feedback from your peers and subject specific experts, talk through issues to develop an understanding of the factors that contribute to successful research.
