"Smart growth through international R&D cooperation" is the launching conference of the 2011-2012 Hungarian EUREKA Chairmanship and will take place in Budapest on July 8, 2011. Hungary took over the EUREKA Chairmanship on July 1, 2011.
In line with the Europe 2020 strategy and its Innovation Union flagship initiative, the aim of the conference is to serve as a forum for stakeholders to discuss how international R&D&I cooperation activities in particular EUREKA could contribute to strengthening the competitiveness of European SME-s and enhancing smart growth in the regions.
The main focus areas of the Conference will be:
- Smart growth strategies in ERA;
- Effective tools and instruments to support R&D&I activities of European SMEs;
- The role of international R&D cooperations in boosting regional competitiveness.
